Parenting Through Connection is an archived educational course platform. The public-facing page can be viewed without logging in, but access to the archived course materials is restricted to authorised users with login credentials.
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, stored and protected in connection with this course platform.
I am committed to protecting your personal data and complying with applicable UK data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Because this is an archived course platform, I process only limited personal data relating to authorised course users.

This may include:

I do not intentionally collect personal data from visitors simply for browsing the public-facing page.

My legitimate interests include:

* ensuring that the archived platform continues to function securely.

6. Who processes your personal data?

The course platform is hosted by HostGator.
HostGator may process personal data stored on or transmitted through its hosting service as part of providing website hosting and related technical services.
I may also use WordPress and associated technical services to operate the course platform.
I do not sell your personal data.
I do not share your personal data with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

7. International transfers

My hosting and technology providers may process personal data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States.
Where a transfer of personal data outside the UK is subject to the UK GDPR’s international transfer rules, I will ensure that the transfer is made using an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards required by UK data protection law.

Because this is an archived course, historical account information is retained only for as long as it is reasonably necessary to maintain authorised access to the archived course and to administer the platform securely.

The criteria I use when reviewing retention include whether the user still has an entitlement to access the archived course, whether the account is required for the secure operation of the platform, and whether I have a legal reason to retain the information.

My hosting and technology providers are responsible for the security of the infrastructure and services they provide.
However, no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Automated decision-making and profiling

The archived course platform is intended for adults and is not designed to collect personal data directly from children.
